Q: How do I get to the Fort Mason Center Festival Pavilion?
    

A:    There is no street address, but the entrance to Fort Mason Center is at the intersection of Marina Boulevard and Buchanan Street, in the Marina district, located between Fisherman’s Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge on San Francisco Bay.

We encourage public transportation and carpooling. Consider taking advantage of our partnership with ZipCar, a unique carsharring organization. Get more details at www.zipcar.com.

Fort Mason Center also offers easy access by MUNI and BART:

East Bay
Bay Bridge to Fremont Street Exit; on Fremont (100 yards north) take first right on Howard; left on Embarcadero and go 2 miles; left on Bay and go 2 miles; right on Buchanan. Cross Marina Boulevard and turn sharp right into Fort Mason Center.

North Bay
Golden Gate Bridge (US 101) to Marina Exit; Marina Boulevard (1.5 miles) to Buchanan and turn
left into Fort Mason Center.

Peninsula/South Bay
US 101 North to 9th Street Exit; 9th across Market and left on Hayes; right on Franklin; left on
Bay; right on Buchanan. Cross Marina Boulevard and sharp right into Fort Mason Center.

 
Q:    What is the parking situation at FMC?
    

A:    There will be parking available at the venue for a small fee. Please consider public transportation.

Q:    How do I get to the Santa Clara Convention Center?
    

From SFO Airport (approximately 30 miles):
Take Highway 101 South to Great America Parkway and turn left. The hotel is located on the right at the corner of Tasman and Great America Parkway.

From SJC Airport (approximately 5 miles):
Turn left onto Airport Boulevard, and then turn left again onto Guadalupe Parkway. Follow the signs to Highway 101 North. Guadalupe Parkway will put you onto Highway 101 North. Take Great America Parkway and turn right.

From Points North
Take I-880 South and exit to Highway 237 West toward Mountain View. Turn left onto Great America Parkway, and then turn left into the hotel entrance. The hotel is located at the corner of Tasman and Great America Parkway.

From Points South
Take I-880 North to Highway 101 North and exit at Great America Parkway. Turn right onto Great America Parkway. The hotel is located on the corner of Tasman and Great America Parkway.

From Points East:
Take I-5 South toward San Francisco / Los Angeles. Merge onto I-205 West toward I-580 / San Francisco; I-205 becomes I-580 West. Take the I-680 North exit toward Sacramento / San Jose, then merge onto I-680 South via the exit on the left toward San Jose. Take the Mission Boulevard West exit toward I-880 / Warm Springs District / UC Extension. Merge onto Mission Boulevard / CA-262 West, then merge onto I-880 South toward San Jose. Merge onto CA-237 West / Aliviso-Milipitas Road toward Mountain View. Take the Great America Parkway exit toward Lafayette Street, turn left onto Great America Parkway.

Q:    What is the parking situation at SCCC?
    

A:    Parking is free at the Santa Clara Convention Center, but limited, so please consider public transportation or carpooling.

 
Q:    I am a snowboarder that likes wine or a skier that likes beer... Am I welcome on either day?
    

A:    Yes! Each day will showcase BOTH skiing and snowboarding gear and activities. The only aspect that will change from day to day is that wine will only be served on 11/1, and brews served only on 11/2.

Q:    Are there any charities benefitting from the Festival?
    

A:    Yes! The Ski & Snowboard Festivals benefit our partner, Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Q:    Do I have to be 21 to get into the Festival?
    

A:    No! All ages are welcome at the Festival and there will be activities and entertainment for everyone. However, you must be 21, and present a valid, government issued photo ID, to participate in the wine and beer tastings.

Q:    What are the Festival hours?
    

A:    Doors will be open to the public on November 1st from 11pm-8pm, and on Sunday November 2nd from 11pm-6pm.

Q:    What wineries are pouring at the event?
    

A:    Please refer to our “Wine Expo” page for more information on the more than 60 participating wineries.

Q:    What breweries will I see at the Festival?
    

A:    Please refer to our “Brew Expo” page for more information on the more than 20 participating breweries.

Q:    I am a winery or brewery that would like to get involved. What do I do?
